Full Plate Farm Collective

The Full Plate is a multi-farm CSA in the Ithaca area that includes Remembrance Farm , Stick & Stone Farm and Three Swallows Farm. Our three farms grow over 50 acres of vegetables and offer 450 CSA shares for the Ithaca area. Our farm pickup locations are at Stick & Stone on Wednesdays, and Three Swallows on Saturdays.  We also offer box shares that are delivered either to your home or other pickup location, including Ludgate Farms.

We don’t use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, but rely on crop rotation, compost and cover cropping to maintain an ecological balance. Each farm grows different crops which are collected together for CSA distribution. By relying on each other, we are able to provide a more consistent and diverse share of the harvest than we could individually. By sharing our resources, skills, labor and knowledge, we become better farmers and strengthen the local farm community.

Through our CSA, we invite you to be a part of a larger community centered around healthful fresh food.

A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is an arrangement between a community of individuals and a farm operation in which the growers and consumers provide mutual support and share the risks and benefits of food production.  Members purchase a “harvest share” to cover the anticipated costs of the farm operation and farmer’s salary.  In return, they receive a share of the farm’s bounty throughout the growing season, as well as satisfaction gained from reconnecting to the land and participating directly in food production.

Our members are our best promoters. Do you have friends and co-workers who would love our csa if they only knew about it?  Help spread the word and put the community back into Community Supported Agriculture. Please feel free to grab some of our new colorful brochures from our coordinator Katie Church. Call her at 342-7632.  Hand brochures out to friends or leave them at your work place, church or favorite hang-out.  Pretty soon, you’ll all be hanging out at the farms!
