Our Farms

We share the vision of building community, farming with integrity, and growing high quality food with fair prices for all involved. We invite the community to our farms and value cooperation rather than competition. We want to offer members the benefits of this model through the many options it presents. By becoming a member, you share in the building of a stable local food system.

Remembrance Farm

 

Nathaniel Thompson farms in Trumansburg on Searsburg Rd. He farms biodynamically and specializes in a salad greens and selected roots crops. Beyond the CSA, you can find his salad mixes at Greenstar, Wegmans, served at high-quality restaurants in town and on Seneca & Cayuga Wine Trail.

Stick and Stone Farm. 

Chaw Chang, Lucy Garrison-Clauson and one year old Greta farm just 4.5 miles from downtown Ithaca towards Jacksonville. They grow a wide range of vegetables, including lettuce, cooking greens, summer and winter squash, heirloom tomatoes, beets and spinach. Their produce can also be found at the Ithaca Farmers’ Market, Greenstar, Wegmans, at local restaurants and on the Seneca & Cayuga Wine Trail. Lucy and Chaw grow a beautiful U-Pick garden that is always open to CSA members. It includes perennial herbs, flowers, cherry tomatoes, peas and green beans. Stick and Stone Farm is certified organic.

Three Swallows Farm

Jeff Marianni farms biodynamically on Nelson Rd. also 4.5 miles from downtown Ithaca towards Danby. He focuses on hot weather crops such as eggplant, okra, hot peppers, heirloom and paste tomatoes and melons. Jeff also grows amazing strawberries. CSA members get first dibs on his organic fresh turkeys for Thanksgiving! The views from the extensive U-Pick garden at Three Swallows are gorgeous. CSA members are welcome any time to pick basil, tomatoes, flowers, peppers and more.
